Run for the Dream Case Study

I was brought into create a new branding concept for this

Half Marathon Fundraiser.

The client wanted something timeless, that obviously appealed to runners and promote the beautiful location and destination of Williamsburg, Virginia.

 

   I wanted it to run ahead of the pack in perceived prestige and attitude.

 

   Serious runners are a truly different breed.

In the race, it is a run against oneself and the clock;
a unique solitary, often deeply personal 
challenge celebrated only at the end with a mass of friends and family.

   

   I think I was able to capture that.

   

   And apparently the runners did, too.

  By race daytime number of registered runners outpaced the previous years event by 38%.
